The club was established in 1857 and has been at the heart of the community for over 150 years.
The club runs four adult sides from the Sussex Premier League First Eleven, the successful Second Team squad to the Fourth Eleven in the Mid Sussex District League. The First and Second teams both finished in the top three of their respective leagues last season and both won their respective Sussex Cup Competitions on finals day at the County Ground in Hove in September. We hope to repeat that level of success in the Leage this season.
East Grinstead Cricket Club were delighted to welcome the President of Sussex Cricket, David Bowden and new Chief Executive, Rob Andrew. Read the full story.
East Grinstead Cricket Club is seeking additional players for 2016 and future seasons. Following the success of the last two years the club has reintroduced a 4th XI competing in Mid Sussex Cricket League Division 5.
There are opportunities in teams at all levels. Full support will be given to anyone joining the club with coaching sessions weekly.

As part of our continuing commitment to develop our players as witnessed by our recent Sussex players, our captain Will Adkin and current Sussex squad members Lewis Hatchett and Fynn Hudson Prentice, we are developing our coaching to enable us to continue to play the best possible standard of competitive cricket at all levels. To this end East Grinstead Cricket Club in association with FCCC has established a Professional Coaching School for our youth squad members. The under eighteen Development side competes in the Surrey Trust League with the aim of processing talented players through to the Second and first team squads.
The youth section fields teams at under nine to under sixteen in competitive league and cup games throughout the season and there is a ladies side who play in the Nat West T20 competition.
The Club wishes to build on this success story and welcomes existing and new partners from the local business community to our network, to help us to produce more County players and to help us provide the best possible standard of cricket for all our players.
